Akira, having realizing the embarrassing doodles in her book, rushes back only to find Kase slyly looking at her. She realizes that he is now aware of her love for the manager, and asked him to keep it a secret. He agrees under one condition: to go on a date with him.
At the staff New Year's party, he makes a snide remark about Yui quitting because she can't get a boyfriend. Akira punches him.
